Ok, so this is my first attempt at working with charcoal. After scrolling through pages of artwork on here, I was completely mesmerized by a picture of Randy Harrison (Justin of Queer as Folk) by Trial-by-Error. So mesmerized, in fact, that I went out and bought a set of charcoals. Any suggestions?? I have no idea what I'm doing here. I like the picture, but I really don't think I'm going about this quite right... All comments welcome! Help me out, guys. :)

lol. I used to think charcoal would be easier, cause it's darker, but I didn't think about how annoying that would be when you need to draw lightly! grr. :P
