This is my favorite and most recent portrait. It has a good story to go with it too... I was working on this picture in july, '04, just before the Curiosa tour came to the US. I found an eBay auction for two Meet and Greet passes to Curiosa, Phoenix, so didn't stop bidding until I won them! (Of course, this went up to 2,500 bucks, so I had to sell the second ticket) I wanted to draw/paint something for the guys, but with only a month to prepare I was too wired to come up with anything. In the last week I finished up this picture and framed it. I was honored enough to not only meet the band, but offer Robert a gift in exchange. ^_^ So I'm sorry that the quality is a little crappy, but this is a photo of a copy since the original has been given away. P.S. Simon gives the BEST hugs! *squee* |

The smell of meat and blood clouds up the condo until I don't notice it any more. And later my macabre joy sours and I'm weeping for myself, unable to find any solace in any of this, crying out, sobbing, "I just want to be loved."
